Air Fried Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus

I never liked asparagus. Growing up asparagus was probably one of my least favorite vegetables. Now if you wrapped it in bacon? Okay, I’ll bite. There is nothing fancy about this recipe… there are only two ingredients and one cooking vessel.

So why the need to post? Because if you don’t have an air fryer, you need to buy one asap. This recipe is less than 15 minutes, is cooked to perfection, and if you cut the bacon in half before wrapping, it’s not THAT unhealthy. Just remember to cut that bacon in half, you really don’t need more than that.

INGREDIENTS

1 bunch Asparagus

½ – 1 lb. Bacon

Serving Size: 2-4

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Wash and trim the asparagus.
  • Cut bacon in half.
  • Slowly curl ½ piece of bacon over one string of asparagus. Smoothing with clean hands to create a thin, unbroken layer.
  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes.
  • Line up one layer of asparagus in air fryer.
  • Fry for 10 minutes.
  • Repeat until all asparagus is cooked.
  • Enjoy as a side or dip into your favorite sauce for an appetizer!
