*REPOST FROM OLD BLOG*
Hello October!! While everyone else is posting pumpkin-spice this, pumpkin-spice that. I am here to tell you. It’s still summer in my mind. Fall starts after Halloween. Or at least the week of Halloween. So while everyone runs to pull out their cozies and fall decorations, I am over here sipping my summertime favorite semi-skinny marg!
If there is one drink I can make REALLY really well, it’s a skinny margarita… well a SEMI skinny marg. Why semi? It has a splash of OJ as a sweetener but other than that, it’s tequila, lime, and sparkling water. I learned the OJ trick from my dad (shout out TK) and it’s by far the best “secret ingredient.”

Not too sweet but completely cuts the tequila taste, this is the recipe you should be making when you want to impress your friends.
Trust me, I have made this for many a group and the feedback is in – it’s perfect!

INGREDIENTS
2 oz. Blanco Tequila
2 Limes
½ Jalapeno
Splash of OJ
Sparkling Water
Tajin (for the rim)
Ice Cubes

- Cut a lime into wedges and squeeze the lime around the rim of the glass.
- Dip the lime-soaked glass rim into a shallow bowl of Tajin.
