Hair of the Dog – Red Sangria

*REPOST FROM OLD BLOG

Sometimes we all need a little hair of the dog. And if you are as picky about Bloody Mary’s as I am or simply don’t have those ingredients laying around, THIS is the perfect “hair of the dog.” It has Ginger Ale built into it!

Okay okay, you don’t need to drink this hungover, it’s actually just a delicious sangria! Light, refreshing, a little bubbly (but not too much), and not too sweet, I love to make a pitcher of sangria for happy hour, outdoor gatherings, and afternoon refreshments because it’s not too boozy, fun to drink, and looks so much fancier than it is.

I don’t care if it’s June and the Gloom is in full force like I’ve never seen in 8 years of living by the beach, this drink will brighten up your day regardless of the circumstances. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

1 bottle Dry Red Wine

1 (8oz) can Ginger Ale

1 Apple

1 Orange

1 Lemon

1 tbsp. St. Germain

  • Enjoy!
